Join our ethnographic adventure to discover the Maasai culture in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area which is a protected area and a World Heritage Site and is the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world. On this expedition, we'll stay in a Maasai village inside Ngorongoro and observe and participate in their life and traditions in this fantastic place. The expeditions includes bush walks with Maasai warriors and game drives in Ngorongoro Crater and Manyara National parks with the Maasai guides who are the best to tell about the wildlife and nature.

About the expedition

This trip is escorted by Anniina Sandberg, who is the founder of the Visit Natives.  Anniina speaks fluent Swahili and Maa languages as she has conducted anthropological fieldwork among the Maasai. On this trip, we are hosted by the local Masai from Ngorongoro who will take us to the places that are very excluded and far away from touristic routes.
